I learned concrete pouring slabs and driveways in new subdivisions, where the lots were bare dirt and nobody had moved in yet. In 2021 I started B&C Lake Charles Concrete Company to do that same work at homes people already live in, where there's a fence to protect, a flower bed beside the forms and a family walking past while we pour. That's what we're best known for now, mostly for homeowners in Lake Charles and the cities around it, along with a few small businesses.
What I care about most is leaving your place the way we found it, apart from the new concrete. So I'd rather settle the small questions up front, like who hauls off the old pieces or where you'll park while the driveway's out, than have you find out on pour day. A clean site and a clear answer matter to me as much as a good finish, and when there's a choice about where the money goes, I put it into the base under the slab, because nobody sees it on day one but it decides whether the slab settles and cracks later.
